Our Story

Welcome to Windgate Farms! I’m Ariel, the one growing beauty with intention. We are located just outside of Amery, WI (Zone 4b), on our small but growing 7-acre farm. I’ve been gardening vegetables for years, but my love for flowers truly blossomed when we planted over half an acre for our wedding in 2024. That experience sparked a passion, and now I’m growing more flowers than ever—especially dahlias!

We’re excited to bring many specialty dahlia varieties to your table, along with a wide variety of other cut flowers, including snapdragons, zinnias, lisianthus, sunflowers, and more. As we continue to expand, we’re thrilled to share these blooms with you and bring a little bit of our farm’s beauty into your home!

Behind the Name

The name Windgate Farms is deeply personal. It comes from my grandparents' old dairy farm, which once stood not too far from here on the Ubet flat in the late ’70s and ’80s. Naming our farm Windgate is a way to honor that history and keep the legacy of the land alive. While we may not be a dairy farm, the spirit of hard work and love for the land remains the same.

Thank you for following along with us and for supporting our small family farm!
