Sale Information

Prices are for a single tuber or rooted cutting. Tubers will have at least one viable eye. Rooted cuttings are well established and rooted in soilless media.

Cuttings will ship immediately. Please only order if you are ready to receive them and nighttime lows are above freezing in your area. Below freezing temperatures will kill these cold-sensitive plants. Tubers and rooted cuttings will ship separately. Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery and contact us within two days by emailing windgatefarmsllc@gmail.com if you have a concern. Include a description and photos. We cannot respond to customer service issues via social media.

All of our dahlias are grown on our farm in Wisconsin.

Nursery inspected by the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture.

Dahlia Tuber Shipping Information

We ship all orders using USPS Flat Rate Priority Mail.

Currently, we only ship within the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii.

Shipping for dahlia tubers begins in April, starting on the 1st and continuing through the 30th. Please note, we do not offer early shipping.

A flat shipping fee of $15 applies to all orders of up to 12 tubers. Orders containing 12 to 28 tubers will incur a shipping fee of $27, and any order with 28 or more tubers will be charged $32.

Combined Shipping Policy:
As a small, family-run farm with a limited shipping team, we strive to get orders out as quickly as possible. However, combining shipments can slow down our processing time. We understand the impact of rising shipping costs and want to help where we can. We offer combined shipping for multiple orders when the total reaches $150 or more.

Additional Options:
You can add heat pads to your order for an additional $4 to help protect your tubers during transit.

Important:
To qualify for combined shipping, all orders must be placed with the same shipping address at the time of checkout. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate address changes after the order has been placed.

Guarantee

Tubers and rooted cuttings are guaranteed to be true to variety. Dahlias do vary in color due to environmental factors and may appear different from photos on this site. Please contact us by October 1 of the year of purchase with photos of the plant and flower should you believe you have received a mislabel.

Virus and Disease

We try very hard to grow the best plants possible. We sanitize between each plant during harvest season and when dividing tubers or taking cuttings, following the American Dahlia Society's recommendations. We cull anything suspicious. We will ship only visibly healthy plants and tubers. We do not guarantee that plants are free from virus' as plants can remain asymptomatic.

Refunds and Returns

Refunds are limited to only the purchase price of the product. We will not refund shipping fees or any other loss. We do not offer refunds or replacements for damage or loss due to weather, improper care, failure to thrive, or disease.
